All of our materials are by-products/waste from the meat industry.
Here is a glossary and explanation for our constructions:
Cemented - The excess of the upper leather is folded under and glued under the inner sole (midsole) before the outer sole is glued on.
Moccasin - The outsole is sewn into the upper part of the shoe around the entire sum. You can see the seam under the shoe and on the inside of the shoe.
Strobel - The upper and midsole are sewn together like a glove before being attched to the outsole. A construction that makes the shoes very soft.
Opanka stitched - Opanka is a construction to fasten the extended upper material with the outsole by stitching. Here you can clearly see the seam around the entire shoe.
Cemented and blake stitched - The outsole is both glued and sewn into the middle sole/upper. You can feel the seam inside the shoe.
