With respect of resources
We take pride in our commitment to sustainability by carefully selecting materials such as vegetable-tanned leather, heavy metal-free leather, and chromium-free leather. These choices aren’t just about sustainability—they’re conscious decisions to avoid harmful substances that can affect both people and the planet.
In some cases, to maintain affordability, we use traditionally tanned leather that contains chromium. When we do, we always ensure that the parts closest to the foot—like linings and insoles—are made from chrome-free leather for your comfort and safety. All traditional leather used comes from tanneries certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG), ensuring responsible water use, chemical management, and waste handling. For you as a user, this means the leather in your shoes has been produced responsibly, with minimal environmental impact.
Our use of materials derived from the by-products of the meat industry reflects our ethos of minimizing waste and ensuring ethical sourcing—without causing additional harm to animals.
In addition to leather linings, we use wool, recycled wool, or fleece linings made from GRS-certified recycled PET bottles. The wool we use is always non-mulesed.

It is supported by long-life and sustainable production, forming the core of our company. Each shoe design is carefully considered, infusing both style and substance.

All our products are proudly made in Europe, where we ensure that our factories are not only eco-friendly but also meet high standards for working conditions and fair wages. Our commitment to quality and responsibility extends to our suppliers, who have all agreed to follow our Code of Conduct. We believe in building strong, long-lasting partnerships with our suppliers, always aiming to do business in a way that’s good for people and the planet.
Shoes that last
Quality is important for sustainability, but high quality isn’t enough on its own if we don’t look after our shoes.
